World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (95%) ✰✰✰✰✰
This expansion adds an entire northern continent called Northrend to the world of Azeroth. Character’s need to be level 68 or higher and can find their way there by either zeppelin or boat.
Players are also given the opportunity with this expansion to create a level 55 hero character in a matter of a few hours called a Death Knight. Sadly since their introduction Death Knights have had quite a few of their abilities “nerfed” for game balancing purposes, but having another high level character on your account is worth the price of the expansion alone.
This expansion also introduces vehicle use by the player’s character (think along the lines of battle tanks and/or flying attack dragons), which is quite fun. I can’t begin to tell you the number of times I was shot down!
On the downside those players with flying mounts will not be able to use their mounts in Northrend right away, until after they pay for and attain cold weather flight training. Also one might find it necessary to upgrade their video card and/or CPU to help render large scale battle and city simulations that are part of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
