Fishing for Sagefish or Sagefish Farming
Schools of Sagefish can be found in the river just to the East and Northeast of Tarren Mill. If you’re playing on the side of the Horde you can even purchase two Sagefish recipes from the Cook Derak Nightfall (57:45) in Tarren Mill as well. Don’t be surprised to also snag a Watertight Trunk full of good gear while fishing a School of Sagefish.
Besides Sagefish the river is also full of Snapjaws (level 23) that remain neutral until attacked. Snapjaws often drop (you guessed it Turtle Meat), that was the prime ingredient in the Soothing Turtle Bisque recipe if you can still find one at the Auction House since it seems to have vanished from the vendor item list since Cataclism, which is a shame since that food gave good Stamina and Spirit bonuses. The ruins next to the river at Chillwind point (67:34) are a known good spot for both Sagefish schools and Lockjaw turtles.
