Perhaps things do get better with age…there have been various Lego video game incarnations of: Batman, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones and now we have Harry Potter by Warner Brothers Interactive. Like most Lego video games the majority of the gameplay is focused on exploring and collecting in kid-friendly fashion. This game also has spell casting and potion creation to help players complete various missions and unlock assorted extras.
There are over 150 characters to play, which have assorted strengths. The game also has a multiplayer mode, that uses a two player split-screen, that was previous deployed in Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.
Even though LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is being released for most major game platforms the Nintendo DS version understandably has the most changes, with more simplified game environment, spell casting and boss battles.
