For those wanting a virtual taste of what it’s perhaps like to hunt in the wilderness of North America this game from Griffin International might be worth checking out. Players have the opportunity to stalk and hunt 20 animal species using a variety of equipment (conveniently sold in “real life” at Bass Pro Shops) such as a GPS, scents/musk, and calls. Being a hunting game there are of course a dozen different weapons from which to choose: pistols, bows, knives, shot guns and rifles. Besides various hunt missions of different game time lengths the game also has a few mini games, such as target shooting, a duck hunt, ATV racing and more. The wii version also the option of using a special hunting controller (read gun)! One negative worth mentioning is that for an outdoor game some of the outdoor environments were a bit on the jaggy-side.
