Vampire Wars by Zynga is a text based top social horror game on facebook (called Vampires on Myspace) and has a Vampire theme in which players and their friends form a clan and complete missions to gain blood and experience. Blood, which is the defacto currency of the game, which can be used to dominate minions so they can maintain a sustained income of Blood or purchase enhanced Offensive, Defensive, and Movement skills at the bazaar.
The graphics are fairly exceptional in the game and it has an impressive avatar creator, which should be adopted by all Zynga games in our humble collective opinion. There is a fair bit of social interaction, a little more than most games of this type. On the downside players that have played Mafia Wars will be a bit wanting since the mission and boss fights don’t have the depth/complexity of that game.
Vampires on Myspace
The bottom line is that this Vampire themed game by Zynga is pretty creedy and fun it just needs a little dare we say it “Re-vamping” to bring it more up to par with Mafia Wars. If Zynga accomplishes this we are fairly certain that this game would become even more popular and have more than just a second lease on life.
Of note is that Zynga also has a simplified version of these games for the iOS called Vampires Bloodlust, which are quite a bit better than their rivals on the Apple platform.
