Darkmoon Faire Daily Quests Tips & Tricks Guide

The Darkmoon Faire has five replayable daily quests where players can exchange Darkmoon Faire Tokens for Darkmoon Faire Coupons by completing the games, previous score carries over to the next game and it is an excellent way to gain Darkmoon Faire faction as well as unique heirloom gear, pets, companions and more.

General Control Meta Rules for the Darkmoon Faire Daily quests: Typically the “1 key” is used to fire, swing or throw etc and the arrow keys are used to aim or to move.

It’s Hammer Time (Wack-a-Gnoll) Strategy, Tips & Tricks: Don’t run around the barrels–run through the barrels and keep listening for the spawn cue of the Hogger Gnoll, which is worth extra points. Pull out on your view so that you can see all the barrels and be able to take in the whole picture of what is happening, which will allow you to hit more Hogger Gnolls, since you won’t waste time looking to see where they have spawned.

Tonk Commander Strategy (Tank Battle), Tips & Tricks: You don’t have to aim in any sort of precision manner just aim within 20-45 degrees of the target or so is more than fine. Also you don’t need to aim at the bullseye on the front of the target…you can destroy the target even by hitting the sides and/or backs of targets as well…you can also take out enemy tanks and the blimp with a few shots.

The Humanoid CannonBall Strategy (Bombs Away), Tips & Tricks: It might help to be looking down before launch….and then wait another second after when flying over that last piling of the dock after the audio countdown gets down to 1 before hitting the release button. To save time get a teleport back from the Mystic Mage fishing on the beach fishing near the drop zone.

Target Turtle (Turtle Ring Toss) Strategy, Tips & Tricks: Once you hit your “1-key” and get your target crosshairs up move your mouse to put it directly under the stake on the turtles back rapidly right click to launch the rings as fast as possible before the turtle moves. You should be able to almost always win a Darkmoon Faire coupon using a single token.

He Shoots, He Scores! (Target Shoot) Strategy, Tips & Tricks: Don’t take much time trying to aim, just try to get within say 20 degrees of the general target. Best to line-up on the center target and pivot left of right if needed, You should be able to get some bonus points for being a quick shot whenever the center target is active.

Trouble Shooting:
Is scoring not working for one of the Darkmoon Faire Daily Quest games? Be sure to first select the quest (the blue exclamation mark) before you select the token link to start playing, otherwise you end up playing the game the practice mode and don’t get to complete the game for a Darkmoon Faire coupon.

Sound issues for some of the Darkmoon Faire Daily Quest games? If you are not hearing the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown for drop off for the Human Cannonball or alert sound for the Hogger spawn during the Wack-a-Mole game try setting your WoW audio options to “suggested settings” to see if that takes care of the problem (that worked for us).
